Claims Manager Job Responsibilities
Supervising, appraising, training and development of staff in the department.
Monitor and review departmental performance.
Manage the Branch Claims coordination.
Co-ordinate and maintain expeditious and efficient processing of claims and ensure customer needs are attended to promptly.
Analyze claims data to identify issues, and ensure that all relevant issues relating to underwriting policies, re-insurance arrangements, and product pricing are identified and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Set standards for measuring the performance of strategic customer relationship and communication.
Ensuring that all claims fall within scope of respective insurance policy.
Preparation of weekly claims statistics
Identify, appoint and maintain efficient and effective service providers.
Preparation of periodical claims report and other management reports relating to claims.
Qualifications For Claims Manager Job
A Business related bachelor degree from a recognized university.
ACII or its Equivalent.
Computer literacy.
5 years working experience in insurance, 2 of which should have been at management level.
Must have served in a busy Motor claims department.
