The successful candidate will be charged with a task to improve the accuracy and reliability of the Demand Plan through baseline forecasts and establishing the forecasts Sales team to deliver accurate estimate of shopper demand and manage exceptions in fulfilling customer demand.
Responsibilities
Evaluate volume requirements against planning assumptions, production requirements and set target levels
Implement all procedures, standards and targets and support continuous improvement
Develop strategies that will help implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Develop demand plan that ensures cost effectiveness and achievement of customer demands
Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials avoid production down time
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time
Complying to set company policies and be flexible to take up roles and duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Degree/ Diploma in holder in Business related field
5 years’ experience in marketing of fast moving consumer goods environment.
Demonstrate detailed understanding of the core sales capabilities of Demand and Supply Planning.
