Job description
The Senior Business Developer acts as the key point of contact between PayU and its clients. The Senior Business Developer expectation is to drive rapid and sustainable growth. The incumbent will be responsible for driving PayU strategy.
The Incumbent will be responsible for expanding PayU reach across the eCommerce market and focusing on Large and Global merchants.
The main objective is to rapidly increase PayU revenue and achieve the targets of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES
Senior Business Developer key responsibilities but not limited to:

Develop and implement Strategy Plans in support of the company’s long term strategic goals
Develop and action tactical Business Plans for new business opportunities
Manage new business opportunities through the full business cycle from enquiry through to contract closure
Actively participate, as a key contributor, to the strategic planning process
Develop cross-functional and multi level relationships within the ecommerce environment
Develop and maintain expert knowledge of specified ecommerce markets
Support and guide development of Product Roadmaps
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of resources for support of new opportunities
Develop, manage and co-ordinate submission of detailed proposals
Create ,develop and ratify business model for every new opportunity/ies
Develop, submit and obtain approval of new business opportunity/ies to the CEO
Develop and provide presentation material as required
Extensive network of personal contacts established within the industry
Engaging with C-level audience

Ensuring you stay up to date and have a full understanding of all PayU products that are available to and can be sold to clientsEnsuring that up to date knowledge of competition in the market
This position requires a strong individual who is able to manage highly stressful situations t and to at all times remain professional in the workplace and with merchants.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Entry-level Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Honours would be advantageous)
3-6 years’ of sales related experience with exposure to Internet or eCommerce selling techniques and processes
2-4 years’ experience within the payments industry
Experience in sales analytics and reporting
Must have extensive knowledge of the payments industry
Must have knowledge of SalesForce and Pipedrive

Professional Requirements

Experience in an eCommerce environment, preferably for a national or international entity
Experience within web, online and ecommerce / payments systems preferred
Experience in business process modelling would be beneficial
Experience working in a high paced, agile environment
Experience with high volume transactional systems would be advantageous
