Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Sub County Medical Technologist (SCMLT) and oversight of CDC laboratory program CQI Lead, the Q-Champions will assist with the following tasks and activities:
Training community HIV counseling and testing workers on practical quality assurance procedures;
Collecting data from the MoH 362 and HIV proficiency testing programs;
Assisting with entering and analyzing data from the MoH 362 and proficiency testing program;
Conducting regular site visits and implementing corrective actions
Qualification and Experience
Requirements:
Diploma or certificate in laboratory science
Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Keen attention to details and wiliness to travel to rural areas for several weeks
Excellent time management and communication skills
Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB)
Experience: This position is considered to be an entry level at the start of the programme; therefore, no previous work experience is required.
