Specific responsibilities;
Facilitate participatory and community-led assessments of the public participation in Kakamega County
Organize grassroots women /girls groups to participate effectively along the County Public Expenditure Cycle.
Equip the grassroots women/girls with necessary skills to engage in the county governance including in the county budgeting process
Activity, management and donor Report writing
Development & dissemination of all the necessary communication and visibility materials relevant to the program
Review of training curriculum as developed by third parties engaged by the program to ensure there are relevant and responsive for grassroots women capacity needs
Ensuring there is a outcome participatory monitoring process inbuilt in the program
Maintain program records and materials in clear and easily retrievable system
Lead in the development and application of community-led tools in the program delivery
Desired Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in political science or other relevant social studies
Past experience and engagement in PEM (Public Expenditure Management) cycle
An understanding of the constitutional provision on public participation
Past experience in advocacy related activities
Past experience working with grassroots communities
Demonstrated passion for women’s right and empowerment
Good interpersonal skill and team work capacity
