Marketing Officer

About the role
Momentum Credit is looking for a Marketing Officer to support the Business Development team to drive business growth through marketing events & campaigns, strong social media presence and brand management. The successful candidate will report to the Business Development manager and will not supervise a team initially. Momentum Credit believes in allowing its team to explore their potential and they fully support each member at each phase of their career progression towards career growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily:

Drive social media reach through on-trend marketing content and advertisements according to budget
Monitor social media content reach as well as respond to queries/comments on social media platforms
Liaise with marketing companies to ensure MCL strategies are being carried out as well as receive and document new proposals/ walk-ins

Weekly:

Ensure that all marketing activities adhere to City Council requirements and are facilitated for
Identify and get approval for locations/events for activations, ensure payments for activations are made in time and assist finance in reconciliation of the same and follow up to ensure proof of attendance by the teams
Assist Product Leaders in developing Marketing Strategies
Submit proposed activities by COB Monday, ensure events calendars are up to date as well as ensure marketing material is available to all teams
Coordinate the different marketing campaigns for consistency with brand guidelines
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the coordination of the department’s activities
Lead the design process of all collateral and ensure there is sufficient stock of marketing materials and they are easily accessible by the sales teams
Liaise with various companies and product leaders to propose which events MCL should sponsor/ attend
Manage events and ensure MCL interests are maximized
Measure the success rate and propose areas of improvement

Monthly:

Develop cycle/ operation plans for all products and ensure alignment with market activity
Champion and lead both internal and external branding
Ensuring compliance to brand guidelines as well as the development and execution of brand strategy
Compute marketing activities ROI, prepare high-level reports on the same and marketing ROI by the 3rd of every month
Prepare and submit marketing budgets before the end of the month and consequently analyze proposed budget against actuals
Maintain a panel of approved printers and monitor their performance based on

Compliance
Prepare the Corporate Social Responsibility budget, propose MCL CSR strategy and internally liaise with the Group Companies
Monitor competitors marketing strategies as well as conduct market research and advise accordingly
Conduct training with the internal team on maximizing the brand and best practice

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Marketing or a relevant field
Minimum 2 years work experience in a relevant role
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong time planning and multi-tasking skills
Strong strategic thinker with self-determination
Highly motivated and ambitious individual with unquestionable integrity
