Job brief
We are looking for IT Systems Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation and IT services.
Requirements
Experience with local area network and wide area network administration.
Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
Experience with firewalls, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
Experience with windows ,Macintosh operating systems and MS Office applications
Ability to set up and configure server hardware Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
Conversant with windows server administration (Active Directory Domain Services)
Extensive knowledge of CMS e.g. WordPress, Joomla, and SEO is an added advantage Cisco CCNA or MCSA training
BSc degree or Diploma in IT or related field 3 years’ practical experience in an ICT department
