Reporting to: Operations Executive, with direct support from the Group HR and Learning & Development teams
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
We are looking for a qualified HR and Training Officer to oversee all human resources and training operations in the region and ensure they are consistent and aligned with our Nimble Group’s operational goals. Our ideal candidate should have solid experience with HR practices and employee management.
He or she will communicate and align with the group’s HR systems and processes, and work together with the groups HR teams and with the operational executives and managers to provide the necessary advice, support and coaching where required.
Job Responsibilities
Under the management / direction of the Operations Executive, the Group HR and Learning & Development teams, the HR and Training Officer will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Human Resources
Conduct and manage employee onboarding of all new starters Learning & Development
Learning and Development
Planning, preparation and facilitation of various training workshops
Reporting
Administration around any and / all training interventions
Any ad-hoc duties
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years working experience in HR and L&D function
Degree or Diploma in HR or related field
Certificate in Training facilitation
Full understanding of HR functions and best practice
Knowledge of labour legislation
Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle
Excellent working knowledge of MS office
Experience working on SAGE People payroll is preferable

Ability to work as a team and independently
Working Hours
You will be required to work a maximum of 52 hours per week, on a shift basis. Shifts will be dependent on new starter intakes and will be scheduled and agreed upon between yourself and your direct manager accordingly and slotted between 08:00am and 21:00pm, Monday – Friday, and 09:00am and 18:00pm, on Saturdays.
