This challenging position will offer a unique opportunity to join a brand-new start-up with offices through-out the continent. The position is based in Kenya and will report to the Kenya Country Manager. This is a diverse role that requires a positive attitude, careful time management, prioritization and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
Onboard new clients and assist clients on signing up on the goAfrica website.
Help customers maximize the use of goAfrica.com features.
Owns the local sales strategy and leads its execution to onboard new clients
Generate leads and efficiently regular contact with existing prospects.
Own relationship and support to on-boarded local business owners, ensure satisfaction and maximizing their business with suppliers on company website
Analyze clients sign up progress and send weekly performance reports to Country Manager.
Maximize networking and community building opportunities and by regularly setting up events bringing affiliates together.
Localize any central material to fit the local market, for example video tutorials or sales pitch material.
Investigates new items and makes recommendations for purchasing products to local business owners.
Qualifications
Experience in marketing preferably digital marketing or ecommerce.
Relevant degree in Marketing or related fields.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Knowledge of ecommerce industry.
Negotiation.
