Role Purpose Statement
To monitor, analyze and provide route analysis for optimization of all Kenya Airways operations.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

Provide payload and block time analysis for optimization to ensure economical and cost-effective operations and future growth of Kenya Airways
Ensure the flight planning database is updated with the current fuel policy, fuel prices, time related costs, taxi times and routes according to permit restrictions for the entire route network.
Process and obtain timely over flight and landing permits/ clearances for scheduled and non-scheduled flights to legally operate within regulations of the concerned states.
Process and obtain foreign operations specifications.
Conduct Safety security and Operational audits, inspections and survey of destinations, alternates, and routes flight operations operational systems, infrastructure and procedures so as to maintain corporate quality.
Ensure implementation of safety, security and emergency standards at all times.
Ensure and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with the relevant industry, regulatory and legislative requirements, company procedures, regulatory authorities and requirements of customer airlines.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in the following Engineering courses – Mechanical, Electrical, Communications, Computer; OR Bachelor’s degree Mathematics or Physics; OR Bachelor of Business Management (Aviation Option) and a Certificate in Dispatch; OR CPL/ATC/Flight Dispatch with at least 3 years relevant experience.
Aircraft Performance Specific Certificate, Aircraft Performance Software Certificate and Diploma in IT are desirable
