Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sales and marketing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficient computer literacy.

Job role

BULK SALES GROWTH:

Identify new opportunities for LPG sales in the assigned market to drive revenue growth.
Prepare for and execute market growth plan for the assign area that positions the company as a preferred supplier in manufacturing, production, processing, institutions, and hospitality sector.
Understand market portfolio, identify potential LPG installation customers and qualify them based on their needs, budget and purchasing opportunity.
Plan and negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of sale with customers guided by internal commercial standards to secure new business, growth business and maintain assigned accounts.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:

Customer and stakeholder relationship management to achieve continued business, access to information, growth prospects and competitive advantage.
Regularly confirm customer needs and requirements including monthly LPG consumption or usage, delivery quantities, delivery time, accessibility, tank capacity, and safety 
Build long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, exceptional customer service, and tailored solutions to meet their LPG needs.
Establish commercial competitor activities including new installations , promotions, new entrants and weekly price surveys.

RISK MANAGEMENT & DEBT CONTROL:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with bulk sales, including market changes, operational challenges, and customer payment issues.
Ensure that the bulk sales receivables are effectively managed, with a focus on controlling overdue balances and maintaining a strong cash flow.
Collaborate with the finance team to regularly review accounts receivables, addressing any collection issues promptly.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT & CLIENT RECRUITMENT:

Develop, update and implement the Account Plan for each bulk customer and communicate the plan to all Departments involved in service delivery to the assigned accounts
Proactively survey the market to identify new potential LPG clients in key sectors such as manufacturing, production, processing, institutions, and hospitality sector.
Negotiating with leads and using persuasion techniques to win deals that are beneficial to the company, while also providing customers with optimal value.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

COLLABORATION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION:

Collaborate with other departments, including Operations, Logistics, and finance to ensure smooth execution of sales and deliveries.
Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure all bulk sales customer recruitment meets company policy while ensuring the potential customer is well informed.
Track and regularly report to the management on individual performance against set Key Performance measures, ensuring that targets are met and strategies are adjusted to optimize sales and profitability.
