Job Purpose
The Corporate Driver assigned to the Group CEO’s Office will provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to the Group CEO. This role requires exceptional driving skills, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism while ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers. Additionally, the Corporate Driver will oversee the maintenance and management of the company’s fleet, ensuring vehicles are adequately fueled, serviced, and insured. The role will also involve supporting logistical needs and contributing to the smooth operation of the Group CEO’s Office. Ex-police officers and licensed firearm holders are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Transportation:
Transport the Group CEO to meetings, events, airports, and other destinations safely, efficiently, and on time.
Plan and select optimal routes to avoid traffic delays, ensuring punctuality.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the comfort and convenience of passengers at all times.
Vehicle Management:
Ensure the assigned vehicle is maintained in pristine condition, including cleanliness, functionality, and regular maintenance.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections (e.g., fuel, oil, tires, brakes) and promptly report any issues.
Schedule and coordinate routine servicing, repairs, and insurance renewals with approved vendors.
Oversee the maintenance of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are fueled, serviced, and insured at all times.
Confidentiality and Discretion:
Handle all information, conversations, and activities with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Demonstrate discretion in all interactions, maintaining a high level of integrity.
Logistical Support:
Assist with errands, including picking up documents, packages, and other items as requested by the Group CEO’s Office.
Support the Executive Assistant or Office Manager with ad hoc travel and logistical tasks.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record and ensure all necessary licenses and certifications are up to date.
Stay informed about road conditions, weather updates, and potential hazards to ensure safe travel.
Fleet Management:
Ensure all company vehicles are fueled, serviced, and insured, keeping vehicles in optimal condition.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and insurance renewals.
Coordinate with external service providers for timely vehicle repairs and servicing.
Flexibility and Availability:
Be available for early mornings, late evenings, and weekend assignments as required.
Adapt to last-minute schedule changes or urgent requests with a professional and positive attitude.

Qualifications and Experience
Academic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in defensive driving, fleet management, or related fields are an advantage.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills:
Excellent knowledge of local and regional routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
Proficiency in using GPS and other technology to optimize travel routes.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management practices.
Working Conditions:
Primarily a driving role, with occasional waiting periods during meetings or events.
May require extended hours, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekends, depending on the Group CEO’s schedule.
Occasional travel outside the local area may be required.
Performance Metrics:
Timeliness and reliability in meeting transportation schedules.
Condition and maintenance of the assigned vehicle and the company’s fleet vehicles.
Feedback from the Group CEO and other stakeholders regarding service quality.
Adherence to safety standards and compliance with traffic laws.
