Responsible for identifying and generating marketplace customer (seller) leads, qualifying prospects, contacting, negotiating, and closing deals.
Contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, client insights, and market trends in the local area.
Act as a point of contact between local clients and the line manager to ensure localized customer engagement and feedback.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales processes, following up on leads, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Continuously monitor the latest trends in the food and agriculture industries to identify new business opportunities.
What you need to succeed
3+ years of experience in sales or sales management.Strong network with Agri/Food suppliers (Farmers/Growers, Processors & Manufacturers, Distributors).Local language proficiency
Self-sufficient, focused sales executive with a propensity towards executing and driving revenue results
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to senior business stakeholders
Strong relationship management skills
Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment
