Job Purpose
To ensure accurate stock management at the branch by overseeing inventory movements, reconciling stock variances, and maintaining financial controls to minimize losses and optimize profitability.
Responsibilities
Cash Management – Daily reconciliations, banking, and spot-checks on branch floats.
Inventory Control – Receive, issue, and count stock; ensure FIFO; update bin cards.
Stock Reporting – Investigate variances, update reports, and maintain GP targets.
Compliance – Ensure price accuracy, supplier invoice checks, & stock policy adherence.
Training – Support new stock controllers and team members.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in stock control or inventory management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
