MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Research
Plan and commission consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) to research agencies.
Conduct consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) and explore consumer needs from the results.
Product and Material Development
Understand product structure and propose and implement product improvements to meet consumer needs.
Understand the machinery used to manufacture products and consult with engineers on equipment modifications to produce desired products.
Understand the materials used and be able to select and develop appropriate materials in conjunction with suppliers.
Design and select materials for packaging and cartons.
Understand package printing technology and be able to make appropriate improvement requests to packaging companies in case of printing problems.
Others
Product Improvement through direct observation and analysis of used diapers and sanitary towels (Involves checking used products, understanding actual usage, and identifying areas for product improvement).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
(Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role)
Bachelor’s degree in chemical or Process Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution.
Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
5 Years Experience. Experience in Quality Control or R&D in an FMCG set up is preferred.
