Role: Credit Sales Specialist Intern

We are looking for a dynamic and driven intern to support our Credit Sales team in identifying, acquiring, and onboarding small and medium-sized retailers into Wasoko’s credit program. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about sales, customer engagement, and financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying and qualifying potential retail customers for credit services.
Support the sales team in pitching and explaining Wasoko’s credit products to prospective customers.
Facilitate the onboarding process of new customers, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified.
Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries regarding credit services.
Monitor and report on the progress of customer acquisition targets.
Collaborate with the credit and sales teams to optimize acquisition strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Basic understanding of credit and financial products is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
