Lead Once Off Fundraiser Officer

Role Overview

As a Senior Fundraiser, you will lead by example, balancing individual fundraising responsibilities with the management of a team of fundraisers. You will actively engage with mall/on location visitors to secure donor support while mentoring and motivating your team to achieve collective and individual fundraising targets. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for driving positive change.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Fundraising Contributions

Actively approach mall visitors to communicate the organization’s mission and campaigns.
Persuade potential donors to make contributions, ensuring a positive donor experience.
Consistently meet or exceed personal fundraising targets.

Team Support and Development

Support, coach, and motivate a team of fundraisers to achieve team targets.
Provide hands-on training to improve team members’ engagement and fundraising techniques.
Lead by example, demonstrating effective donor engagement strategies.
Address fundraising challenges and foster a positive and inclusive team environment.

Operational Management

Organize and oversee booth setup and ensure all materials are available and professionally displayed.
Monitor the team’s hourly & daily performance, track metrics, and report results to the Outreach Coordinator
Ensure compliance with ethical fundraising practices and organizational policies.

Donor Engagement and Retention

Build rapport with potential donors, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
Accurately capture donor information for follow-up and retention purposes.
Promote long-term donor relationships by emphasizing the impact of their contributions.

Fundraising Expertise

Proven experience in fundraising or sales, with the ability to achieve personal and team targets.

Experience leading or mentoring a team in a results-driven environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

High school /diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
1-2 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or a similar role, with demonstrable experience supporting fundraisers to meet obligations being a plus.
Familiarity with CRM systems or fundraising software is an advantage
