Job Description
The Sales and Marketing Officer will play a key role in driving sales and increasing brand awareness for the company’s range of natural juice products. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and executing marketing strategies to promote the company’s products in both retail and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development:
Identify and target new customers, including restaurants, supermarkets, and other retail outlets.
Meet and exceed sales targets by driving revenue growth through direct sales, partnerships, and promotions.
Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain strong relationships.
Marketing Execution:
Implement creative marketing campaigns to promote the juice products and increase brand visibility in Nairobi and beyond.
Organize product demonstrations, tastings, and promotional events at retail outlets and hospitality venues.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and banners.
Market Research and Analysis:
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
Gather customer feedback and provide insights for product development and marketing strategies.
Reporting and Administration:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market research data.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance and marketing activities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the production, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Support the Sales and Marketing Manager in the development and execution of strategic plans.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) or beverage industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in working with distributors, retailers, and hospitality clients.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of the beverage market, especially in Kenya.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable strategies.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Personal Attributes
Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Adaptable and willing to travel within and outside Nairobi.
Passionate about healthy and natural products.
Remuneration
Negotiable. Retainer + Commissions
