The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operations of their electro-motor rewinding workshop and that includes managing a team of technicians, ensuring the highest quality standards, maintaining safety protocols, and driving operational efficiency. You will work with heavy machinery (up to 25 tons) and handle complex repairs on a variety of electric motors, Transformers and Associated Equipment. The Client is open to candidates seeking either a 1–2-year interim position or a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the workshop team, promoting professionalism, safety, and performance.
Plan tasks for efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
Mentor technicians to enhance skills and knowledge.
Oversee repair, maintenance, and rewinding of Motors, Transformers, and related equipment.
Ensure proper operation of heavy machinery, including equipment up to 25 tons.
Diagnose faults, recommend solutions, and uphold quality standards.
Develop operational processes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Liaise with senior management, clients, and the team, providing reports and technical support.
Qualifications
5 –1 0 years’ experience in electro-motor rewinding,
Skilled in handling and operating heavy machinery (up to 25 tons).
Expertise in rewinding processes, diagnostics, and repairs.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven leadership and team management in a workshop setting.
Preferably UK expatriate with extensive industry experience.
