The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company’s goals and enhance employee engagement. This role will involve managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with local labor laws.
Key Responsibility:
Expatriate/ Immigration Management
Ensure that all the work permits, Dependent passes, Special Passes are applied/renewed timely by working closely with the immigration agent. Maintain a monthly tracker for the same and share with HR Head. Ensure the cancellation of work permits for exited employees is done as per the immigration regulations.
Benefits administration (Pension, Group Life & Medical)
Enroll all new joiners on respective Medical Covers, WIBA/GL and Pension on their date of joining and terminate all exits on their last day of work by notifying the service providers. As for Pension, ensure the exit form is filled and sent to the pension administrator for necessary action. Ensure staff have access to their medical and pension statements.
Follow up with the insurance companies on staff medical claims/pre-authorizations and ensure that they are all paid promptly.
Sensitize staff on their benefits through mails, poster, and interactive sessions by the service providers in all the locations.
Promptly initiate the renewal of medical cover, group life-Zamara (Cigna & Local-Jubilee) by managing the whole process of receiving quotes and doing background check on the potential vendors so that employees are not exposed.
Carry out vendor reconciliation for medical, group life, pension.
People processes
Ensure that all new joiners are enrolled on SuccessFactors and are trained on SF. All exits terminated on SF on the last of work. Update Sf data when required.
Ensure that people processes including goal setting, mid-year, annual reviews are done on time.
Provide the support required to Production manager in ensuring that targets are being met.
Employee Relations
Handle all ER issues professionally and escalate those beyond me to the HR Head.
Oversee the documentation process of all litigations against the company regarding Industrial Relations and furnish to FKE/appointed legal firms within the shortest time possible.
Attend court sessions and testify on behalf of the Company on all legal labour matters.
Minimize litigation and financial loss for the company by adhering to responses within time.
Managing the disciplinary process for employees and ensure that justice and fairness is delivered within the law.
Everything regarding the disciplinary procedure done within the Employment Act.
Proactively follow up and on time action on confirmation/Internship/Probation extension.
Working hand in hand with the legal department on various labour matters to ensure compliance with the law.
Drive employee engagement activities for shop floor for staff motivation.
Externa Connect: Be the liaison person to labour office, police etc.
Security: Managing the external and internal guards to ensure maximum security for Company property and employees. Working closely with security vendors for alarm, guards etc for any quick issue resolution. Reconciliation of all vendor payments etc
Letters & Notices: Drafting notices and letters as when required – i. e warnings, termination/dismissal, confirmation, staff notices and any other letter as required.
Exit Management: Ensuring that employee exit process is properly managed without any gap. The clearance forms, dismissal/termination, resignation letters etc are properly captured and filed.
Transport management-Vehicles repairs, fuel, NTSA portal etc.
