About Alupe University College

Lupe University College (AUC), a Constituent College of MOI University, stands as one of Kenya’s newest and most dynamic higher education institutions. Established through Lupe Legal Order Gazette Notice No. 163 dated 24th July 2015, AUC was officially constituted as a university college in accordance with Gazette Notice No. 136 of 7th November 2016.

AUC traces its origins to a request made by the USIA North community to the then President of Kenya, His Excellency MWA Kabuki, during a visit to the area on 18th September 2007. This led to the establishment of Lupe Campus under MOI University in 2008, which eventually evolved into the present-day Lupe University College.

Spanning 200 acres in USIA County, AUC is strategically located 7 kilometers from USIA town along the USIA-Malaba Road and 23 kilometers from Malaya town. Situated in Test South Constituency, it holds the distinction of being the sole public university in USIA County. Its proximity to the Uganda border enhances opportunities for international student exchange programs, cross-border training, and collaborative research within the East African region. AUC is poised to foster partnerships with neighboring institutions such as KERI, KAL RO, and LDA, facilitating joint teaching, research, and community service initiatives.

AUC is dedicated to advancing excellence in education and research across diverse disciplines, including Sciences, Education, Business Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Human Resource Development, Tourism, and Hospitality.
