Objectives:
Assist in managing company secretarial responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations, support board and committee meetings, and maintain statutory records.
Supervise and mentor Associates.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager/Managing Partner with Governance Audit assignments.
Handle Board Evaluation, Board Induction/Training, and review Governance documents.
Provide advisory services to clients to ensure they remain compliant with ever-changing laws and regulations.
Advise clients on setting up various Boards and manage Board operations.
Attend and prepare minutes for Board, Committee, and shareholders meetings, including drafting board and shareholders’ resolutions.
Draft Write minutes, reports, resolutions, and action logs while adhering to turn-around times (TAT)
Qualifications:
Must have an Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) membership certificate.
Must possess an ICS practicing certificate.
He/she must be able to work with very minimum supervision
Must be in good standing with ICS.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a busy company secretarial environment, specifically in a supervisory role.
Relevant bachelor’s degree.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of Company Law, Governance, and relevant government regulations concerning company registration.
Ability to manage deadlines and handle stressful situations effectively while maintaining client satisfaction.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
