Carpenter Electrician

Your role

The Carpenter is responsible to carry out carpentry and painting works at the delegation and residences, under supervision. 

Accountabilities & Functional responsibilities

Perform carpentry work as directed, carry out any repairs or changes to existing structures;
Assessment of materials and cost estimates required for a project;
Make different kinds of furniture/joinery with good finishes;
Knowledge of painting and varnishing work to any given item or building would be an added advantage;
Carry out painting tasks at the delegation and residence;
Appropriate use of the electrical equipment for carpentry i.e. planners, jigsaws, sanders, drill etc.
Any other tasks that may be assigned.

What we will look for in your profile

Minimum certificate in Carpentry and Joinery from a recognized Institution;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C-(minus);
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
Previous working experience with International Organizations (preferred);
Good written and spoken English; 
Attention to detail and meticulous use of proper safety procedures;
Certificate of good conduct;
High degree of flexibility;
Computer Literacy.
