Technology Capability Manager

Job description
Minimum Requirements:

Post graduate qualification in technology related field
8 -10 years’ operational experience preferably in the retail industry within a systems/analytical environment

Job purpose:
To promote and facilitate the integration of business requirements to the benefit of both the organisation and the client through Data Analysis, Project Management and Optimisation of I.T. Infrastructure and Mobile Technology Capability Internationally
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Identify/design, implement and optimise integrated technology solutions
Review current processes and systems to understand integration of operational data and systems
Liaise with stakeholders to define and understand integrated technology solutions requirements
Plan, design and implement new processes and systems in line with client and business needs
Facilitate and/or manage the implementation of processes and systems
Develop and implement relevant SLA requirements for the region
Facilitate alignment of Technology strategy with client/customer strategy
Align and optimise analytics and insights reporting capabilities
Analyse operational reporting to ensure accuracy and provide insights and trends
Align analytics and insights reporting to client strategy
Align analytics and insights systems and platforms
Ensure analysis of audit reports to identify gaps and possible enhancements
Present an analysis of data to clients and business to provide business update
Facilitate operational excellence
Manage relationships with key regional and local stakeholders in industry, to identify on-going and emerging needs and issues, develop initiatives, and provide advice on these matters
Engage with operational team to facilitate and support achievement of excellence
Maintain SLA requirements as per client needs and suppliers
Identify strategic projects to support implementation of Technology strategy
Effective product/service offerings and business development
Drive implementation of all new and current Smollan technology with clients
Identify and be aware of new innovations in the environment and design opportunities for new offerings
Remain abreast of trends and new developments in the industry and continually benchmark practices to similar businesses
Ensure relevance of product and service offerings
Promote solutions through Smollan service offerings
Present new services and solutions to enhance existing relationships
Recommend processes to improve operation execution using technology
Optimise new business opportunities and the use of technology for the region
Enhance commercial model by identifying new innovations for client, better service, growing Technology structure in Clients
Managing of emotions within a stressful environment
Self-driven and constantly seeking opportunities to improve on current processes
Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained
