Network Administrator

In view of our rapid expansion, we are in the process of recruiting, qualified, experienced, competent and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Network Administrator in the ICT Department.
Job Responsibilities

Establishing network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
Establishing network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
Maintaining network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to ISP.
Securing network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
Preparing users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
Upgrading network by conferring with ISP; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
Developing and monitoring appropriate security procedures to safeguard system from physical and virtual harm and viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data.
Analysing data flow and technical requirements to define a network strategy, and the equipment required to meet projected data traffic.
Investigating the physical space requirements for the network equipment.
Planning the network size, capacity and configuration.
Identifying the hardware and software needed to provide solutions to network needs.
Connecting users to networks and providing initial training in facilities and applications.
Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

Specifications

Bachelor’s Degree in IT
CCNA
Minimum 2 years working experience in ICT environment
Experience working with Juniper SRX
