The Technician will ensure correct assembly, loading and delivery of furniture as per customer specifications. The role will adhere to the delivery schedule planned and ensure proper completion of assignments while maintaining high levels of customer service at all times.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
Proper loading and assembly of furniture and arrangement at the site ensuring compliance health and safety regulations.
Adhere to the delivery route schedule while providing live updates to the team as needed.
Ensure furniture is laid out as per the layout plan and conduct count before handover to the client.
Assist in conducting pre-delivery site assessment to confirm building provisions, interpret and understand furniture layout drawing at the customer premises.
Conduct product training to customers as required
Conduct timely repair assessment, advise, and complete
Key Results Areas:
Proper assembly of furniture at customer premises
Adherence to delivery routes and projects workplans
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
Craft/Tertiary College Certificate or equivalent
At least three (3) years’ experience in furniture assembly is preferred
