Job Description:

Develop the appropriate project management plans and success criteria that support the strategic business objectives in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders after project initiation.
With particular emphasis on the definition of the scope, time and cost goals and baselines.
Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to team members and other stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, and liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Act as a communication broker between business and technical by translating business needs to technical requirements.
Lead the development team in product delivery by prioritizing product backlog and providing guidance on user stories within the sprint or release
Estimate the financial, physical and human resources needed to achieve project goals and come up with accurate budgets.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

Curiosity, continuous learning and ability to ask better questions.

Qualifications, Experience & Qualities

Strong familiarity with modern project management software and issue tracking software such as ASANA, JIRA, Redmine, Microsoft Project.
Minimum of 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Demonstrated success defining and launching high-traffic, consumer-facing Apps and platforms, an added advantage
Project Management certification(s);
Project Management Professional preferred.
Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or other relevant field.

Remuneration: The maximum salary for this position is Kes 150,000 Gross
