The successful applicant must have demonstrated experience in marketing, brand management, product launches, and market coordination, ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical devices, or fast-moving consumer goods sectors.

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in developing and executing marketing campaigns, refining product positioning strategies, conducting market research, and fostering stakeholder relationships—all while maintaining adherence to brand standards and local regulatory mandates.

Oversee and execute core duties including the management of daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency. You will facilitate product launches throughout East Africa by collaborating with Head Office Marketing and regional teams. In this role, you will aid in executing brand strategies, creating promotional materials, and tracking brand performance to guarantee compliance with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Oversee the implementation of marketing initiatives and engagement strategies aimed at healthcare professionals, institutions, and trade partners. Track and evaluate campaign performance, gather market feedback, and deliver actionable insights to drive ongoing enhancements.

Coordinate vendor, agency, and supplier relationships to guarantee the punctual creation and delivery of marketing materials while upholding rigorous cost management, thorough documentation adherence, and consistent quality benchmarks across all initiatives.

Market research and competitive intelligence duties involve performing comprehensive market assessments and tracking competitor actions, pricing patterns, and emerging industry trends. The role requires producing strategic insights and detailed reports that inform brand strategy, commercial planning, and organizational expansion initiatives.

Business Analytics involves the preparation and maintenance of management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses that encompass sales, campaigns, tenders, and market trends. The role demands the delivery of accurate and timely reporting facilitating informed business decision-making.

Provide administrative and operational support for tender and public institution initiatives by organizing documentation, managing timelines, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. Oversee the maintenance of tender records and contribute to the preparation of submissions, product dossiers, and institutional presentations.

Collaborate with sales, regulatory, supply chain, finance, distributors, and Head Office Marketing teams to align on critical business initiatives. Deliver actionable market insights, facilitate training programs, and drive the effective execution of marketing and commercial strategies.

Seeking a candidate with a robust academic background in a relevant field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

An MBA or equivalent management qualification is highly desirable.

A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a comparable field is required.

A minimum of five years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical marketing, communications, brand coordination, or commercial support is required.

Proficiency in pharmaceutical launches, promotional campaigns, institutional business, or tender support is advantageous.

Demonstrated expertise in navigating and operating within pharmaceutical markets across East Africa.
