What We Do
Hivisasa.com is a local news site tailored for the mobile web. We connect local news writers to readers, and bring free county-level news to any internet-enabled phone. We source all our news stories from ‘citizen reporters’ (i.e. anyone wanting to report the news) and we pay via mobile money for each article our editors publish.
Hivisasa.com helps involve and engage a more diverse, connected, and mobile audience into news gathering and reading. Streaming directly from the source to the news room, we amplify news content otherwise unnoticed or suppressed.
