Meru Herbs is the spillover of a Water Project established by the CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF MERU in 1985 for the benefit of a group of local farmers, with funding from the Italian Government. Meru Herbs was founded in 1991 to alleviate the financial constraints faced by the local farmers, while contributing to the operational and maintenance costs of the Water Project.
