Group CFO- INSURANCE

Job description
Our Client, is looking for a CFO for its diverse portfolio of Companies, primarily within the Insurance and FMCG Industries.
The CFO will work closely with the CEO to safeguard and optimize the utilization of the Company’s financial resources through implementation of appropriate accounting systems and internal controls that ensures accurate and timely production of financial information.
Implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the Goal of the organization.
Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external;
Provide accurate financial data and reports on the operating condition of the Company.
Review and update existing financial systems in line with the changing environment
Monitor the preparation of periodic accounting and management reports and to ensure their accuracy and timely preparation.
Monitor working capital and initiate appropriate action including enhancing revenue collection, forex, investment and stock management
Monitor accurate preparation of annual accounts and annual financial budgets.
Oversees the IT role in the company
Facilitate the auditory process
Reviews variance reports with department heads and initiate control measures. Consults with department heads on areas of parts, imports and exports, sales and operations.
Manage the Business Operations in line with Company Policies, plans and budgets and to meet the Financial goals as per Board of Directors
Ensure Company’s overall growth in the Market
Mentor & direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase consciousness of the interrelationship between each department in the operations groups.
Provide direction to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the Company
Experience in the Insurance Industry a Plus**
Responsible for capital planning and expenditures.
Over 15 years in a Senior Finance Position.
Education and Experience
Postgraduate degree in Finance and Investments
The Ideal candidate must be adept at solving diverse business problems with strong relationship management skills
Proven Management and Analytical skills
The Ideal Candidate must be strategic in developing plans and have the ability to influence stakeholders towards achieving company’s strategic priorities.
Have a strong track record of working within the Scope of General Insurance and working with key stakeholders to build working capital within Organizaitons.
