Project Description
The USAID-funded Prevention of Mosquito-Borne Diseases through Vector Control initiative endeavors to enhance USAID’s ability to plan, implement, provide technical assistance for, and monitor and evaluate critical vector control activities for the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases (including malaria, among others) in countries where USAID supports vector control efforts worldwide (including PMI focus countries). To support the implementation of this global initiative, the program will support donors and stakeholders with malaria programs, in planning and implementing IRS programs and other proven, life-saving malaria vector control interventions with the overall goal of reducing the burden of malaria in Africa through cost-effective commodities procurement and logistics systems, and access to technical expertise in countries affected by malaria.
Qualifications
15+ years senior project management experience overseeing regional operations for donor-funded programs
IRS supply chain management experience preferred; Bulk commodities procurement experience required
Africa regional experience required
USAID project management experience
Advanced degree in a relevant field and excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
