Marketing Manager Business Advisor

Job Description
The holder of this role will be accountable for managing all strategic marketing activities and campaigns across the segments. He/she will lead, motivate and develop capabilities of the marketing team and provide strategic marketing leadership and consultancy.
Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities
Develop, manage and ensure the marketing strategy for both the parent company and the subsidiaries are in place.
Review regularly the marketing practices in the organization and enforce best practices in the industry.
Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing efforts including their contribution to the effectiveness of sales campaigns.
Develop and grow the Longhorn Brand.
Participate in price fixing, developing sales offers, and reward scheme for best customers.
Develop and implement guidelines for sponsorship of events and activities of business partners.
Ensure efficient and optimal use of promotional materials.
Monitor, review and present marketing research and market intelligence reports.
Monitor, review and report all marketing activities.
Managing launch campaigns for new products
Develop linkages with strategic partners to gain competitive advantage
Financial management of the marketing programs, including budget planning and resource allocation.
Prepare the Marketing budget and forecasts for the fiscal year and ensure optimal use of the funds.
Participate in stakeholder forums to build sustainable relationships for long term business growth.
Work together with the Sales Managers of Primary and Post Primary to achieve the sales target.
Qualifications for the Marketing Manager
Master Degree in Marketing or any related course.
Certification from Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Five (5) years marketing experience of which 3 years leading a Marketing Department.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated competencies in championing customer focus.Demonstrated capacity to lead, coach and supervise team members effectively to deliver on business targets.
Demonstrate the personal qualities of being a self-starter, organized, results oriented and a team player.
Leadership Skills.

Basic computer skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
