Head Cook Job Requirements
A Mature Person and a natural leader
Level education qualification.
Appropiately trained in food production from a recognized college
Five years experince in a busy kitchen
Supervisory and Management skills
Skilled in the various section/ departments of the kitchen
Must have held leadership position in the kitchen
Ability to spearhead actual food production
Knowledge of menu composition/planning
Good business acumen
In-depth understanding of food cost issues
Knowledgeable in matters hygiene and HACCP
