Receptionist Job Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving all customers to the salon and enquiring their needs
Welcome the client to a seat and let them know you are making enquiries as to how long it will take to be attended.
Invite the client to use WIFI or to take up some reading materials
Follow up with hair dressers to meet the client and provide further information
Record all client bookings for all the services offered in the salon
Follow up with the hairdresser to ensure they are ready before arrival of client
Invite the customers to know other services offered in the same salon
Facilitate the customers to pay for the services
Record all customers attended the individual attendant, the service offered and the amounts paid
Keep all the hairdressers informed of any enquiries in their line of service
Reports to operations coordinator
Requirements for the Receptionist Job
Should have at least a diploma in customer service and 3 years experience in a busy salon.
Be very informed about salon services, trends and the processes
Must have excellent communication and customer services skills
Be polite and a people person
Be efficient in record keeping and time management
Be enthusiastic and passionate about hair dressing and meeting new people
Posses high level of integrity
Be a team worker
