Responsibilities for the Clinical Health Officer Job
Overall responsibility for the daily clinical assessment and prescription of treatment for all patients attending the Clinic.
Provide comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients.
Diagnose and institute appropriate treatment for the clients to reduce morbidity, mortality and increase longevity of patients’ life.
Perform minor surgical operations.
In collaboration with the team receive and attend to patients who require emergency services
Ensure that patient data/ information is handled confidentially at all times
Ensure effective clinical procedures, rules, regulations which are consistent with organization procedures.
Prepare the Monthly reports.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications for the Clinical Health Officer Job
A Diploma in clinical Medicine from a recognized institution
At least 2 years’ experience
Registration with Kenya Clinical Officers Association/ Clinical Council of Kenya
Flexible
Good Communication and leadership skills
