Detailed Responsibilities
Sales strategy
Map and prioritise market segments to drive defined sales strategies for those of high potential
Propose new products or product adjustments based on failed leads and feedback from the market
Provide input in the definition of organisational annual sales targets and expectations
Sales execution
Identify, critically evaluate and rank leads; to focus on those with the potential to turn into sales
Develop and present proposals to potential clients with the aim of closing a deal
Drive profitability by achieving set quarterly targets
Relationship management
Build relationships with decision makers in large and small scale organisations, like NGOs, INGOs, Foundations, Associations, Corporates/CSR Actors and Government, with the aim of deriving sales opportunities or referrals
Coordinate with individuals within the organisation to obtain their support in various stages of the sales process
Coordinate with the Country Director to align opportunities and strategy
Does this sound like you?
Minimum 5 years proven B2B and B2C experience
Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce
Ability to develop and manage sales budgets
Ability to work with minimal supervision and input
Ability to speak English and Kiswahili
Have a ‘roll-up your sleeves’ attitude
Have an existing network of potential clients
Have a great track record of developing and closing long term deals
Have outstanding presentation and facilitation skills
