Summary of the Role
The Strategic Market Research Analyst shall be responsible for the generation of revenue from the Insights profit center through prospecting for new business and supervising the collection, analysis, management and presentation of insights and data obtained by the Company in alignment with the Company standards and strategy plan. The Analyst will be a key custodian of knowledge and insights within the organization and they will be required to ensure effective delivery of insights to clients as well as expanding the knowledge level of the staff team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Generating revenue from the Insights profit center by prospecting for new clients for both quantitative and qualitative research projects
Communicating with the clients to understand their business objectives and selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques to meet these objectives
Designing qualitative and quantitative research projects for clients to meet their business objectives
Championing knowledge for internal and external consumption
Design and executes research projects that deliver high level and insightful reports for external clients
Designs and executes internal projects that provide insightful and informative reports for internal consumption and to fuel innovation.
Conducting analysis on data collected and using it to deliver insights and make recommendations to clients in alignment with their needs and requirements
Compiling and delivering creative and insightful reports to clients which meet and accurately present the TGC brand
Quality management of projects
Responsible for managing each project efficiently and effectively in accordance with Company policy and procedures
Ensures that each project fulfills the brief and that the client’s needs and requirements are met
Generates insights for internal consumption from each project
Ensures that all information leaving the organization meets the TGC standards of authenticity.
Innovation
Responsible for reviewing and innovating new methodologies for obtaining and reporting insights
Contributes towards refinement of existing products and development of new products
Qualifications and Competences
At least a bachelors degree in the relevant fields of advertising, marketing research and communication
Masters in Statistics, Marketing or related field
Must be below 35
Minimum three years experience in a similar position
Demonstration of good leadership and management skills
Demonstrates an awareness of current events (street-cred)
Excellent reporting and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
