Qualifications
Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies or related discipline.
Registration with National Environment Management Authority as a Lead Expert
Registration with DOSHS is preferred but not mandatory Membership in Professional Societies
Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Use of computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and MS Project.
Excellent Public Consultation Skills.
Excellent people skills including interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks including planning field tasks, producing comprehensive reports, preparing bids and proposals as well as supporting in business development activities.
Role Profile
The Environmentalist will support the organization in providing environmental services including conducting Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Audits. The candidate will also have experience in Environmental Health & Safety monitoring on project sites. Registration with NEMA is a mandatory requirement for this role
