Job Summary:
The Curriculum Development Expert will be responsible for leading the creation and revision of curricula with a focus on gender sensitivity within technical vocational education, particularly in e-mobility and Solar Photovoltaic II Installer programs. This role involves engaging stakeholders, aligning curricula with industry standards, and incorporating inclusive teaching strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, especially using the DACUM methodology, and a proven record of leadership in educational projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Development of Gender-Sensitive E-Mobility Curriculum:
Design and implement a curriculum that integrates gender-sensitive approaches, ensuring inclusivity across all aspects of the learning experience.
Review and Update of Solar Photovoltaic II Installer Curriculum:
Assess and integrate gender-sensitive elements into the existing curriculum, identifying barriers to participation, revising learning outcomes, and embedding inclusive teaching practices.
Stakeholder Engagement and Curriculum Validation:
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including industry representatives and educational institutions, to validate curricula and ensure they meet both industry standards and gender inclusivity requirements.
Creation of Supporting Materials and Assessment Tools:
Develop gender-responsive teaching aids, lesson plans, and evaluation methods for both e-mobility and Solar Photovoltaic II Installer programs to support effective and inclusive learning.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Certification in DACUM curriculum development is an asset.
Experience:
Education Sector: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the education sector.
DACUM Methodology: 5–10 years of specific experience in curriculum development using the DACUM methodology.
Leadership in Curriculum Development: At least 5 years of leadership experience in curriculum development projects, with a demonstrated history of overseeing comprehensive curriculum projects (national or international) from needs assessment through to implementation, particularly in technical and vocational education.
