Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the accurate and timely recording of inventory in the warehouse management system.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods, ensuring they meet quality and quantity specifications.
Coordinate the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for receiving and dispatching goods.
Maintain an organized and clean warehouse layout to optimize efficiency and space utilization.
Supervise loading and unloading activities and ensure the use of proper equipment and safety protocols.
Implement and oversee best practices in warehouse processes, including picking, packing, and labelling.
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, guidance, or corrective action as needed.
Plan and delegate tasks to the warehouse team, ensuring productivity goals are met.
Ensure that warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and security regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all warehouse staff.
Identify potential risks or hazards and implement corrective measures.
Prepare regular reports on stock levels, warehouse activities, and productivity metrics.
Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions and activities, including goods received, dispatched, and in storage.
Key Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of inventory control, supply chain procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
