Technical Team Lead

Position Description:

The Technical Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of SAP Business One consultants. This role requires balancing technical expertise with leadership, ensuring successful project delivery, mentoring team members, and maintaining team productivity. Acting as the primary liaison between the technical team and other departments or stakeholders, the Technical Team Lead drives technical decisions, fosters and manages innovation. This position offers a valuable opportunity to lead a high-performing technical and functional team, spearhead the implementation of complex SAP Business One projects, and significantly contribute to the team’s development and the organization’s overall success.

Role Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. (master’s degree in management -an advantage).
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in SAP Business One consulting.
Experience in full lifecycle implementation of 20 + SAP Business One in various industries.
Proficiency in SAP Business One configuration and customization tools.
Strong understanding of SQL and ability to write queries, stored procedures, transaction notifications and views.
Strong understanding of SAP Business One HANA Syntax.
Demonstrate experience in conducting complex HANA upgrades and migrations.
Extensive expertise in HANA analytics and developing complex dashboards.
In-depth experience in writing complex Crystal Reports.
Knowledge of SAP Business One add-ons and integration tools.
Extensive knowledge and expertise in Transport Template / Transport One
Extensive knowledge and expertise in Oil and Gas Template
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
Good communication skills and able to manage different levels of stakeholders.
Proven leadership and management skills.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of SAP Business One consultants.
Identify skill gaps within the team and facilitate training or upskilling initiatives.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in relevant technologies, guiding the team through technical challenges and ensuring best practices are followed.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Provide expert guidance and direction to the team on complex technical issues and projects.
Make critical technical decisions related to system design.
Lead the design and development of technical solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
Lead initiatives to improve team efficiency, processes, and tools.
Encourage and implement new ideas and solutions that drive technological advancements within the team.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the team remains competitive and innovative.
Oversee the architecture, design, and development of technical solutions.
Collaborate with project managers to plan, schedule, and deliver technical projects on time and within scope.
Allocate team resources and manage workloads to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
Manage your own planning in Mari in collaboration with project managers and the PMO.
Independently lead and manage your own projects from start to completion with minimal involvement from project managers, while providing technical oversight for your team’s project.
Handle customer escalations related to their team members’ projects.
Attending project meetings to provide technical guidance and advice to the project manager and the client.
Member of the Change Management Advisory Committee (CMA).
Evaluate complex requirements and deliver accurate and comprehensive quotations.
Ensure high-quality delivery of projects by team members.
Responsible for assigning projects assigned to their team to individual team members.
