Public Relations Manager

Role overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Public Relations (PR) Manager to oversee the organization’s communication efforts, building a positive image and brand reputation across multiple platforms. The PR Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop, implement, and monitor public relations strategies that promote the company’s mission, products, and services. He/she will also be responsible for managing and enhancing the public image of the organization, crafting media strategies, and fostering relationships with the government, corporate organizations, non-governmental organizations, existing clients and the public in general.

Develop and Implement PR Strategies    

Create and execute PR plans that align with the company’s business objectives and promote clean energy solutions in the three core departments.

Reputation and Brand Management    

Enhance and protect the company’s reputation by crafting consistent and compelling brand messages. Monitor public perception and quickly address any negative publicity or misconceptions about company products and/ or practices.

Stakeholder Relations    

Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, banks, environmental organizations, investors, and local communities. Represent the company in public forums, at industry events, and in meetings with government officials to promote favorable policies for the core products.

Public Education and Advocacy    

Design and implement educational campaigns that inform the public about the environmental and economic benefits of Hexing products.

Monitoring and Reporting    

Track media coverage, public opinion, and industry trends related to company products while providing regular reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, including media mentions, public sentiment, and social media engagement.

Investor Relations Support    

Support investor relations by preparing communication materials that highlight the company’s performance, growth, and technological advancements in solar energy, smart water and power metering; and, assist with preparing presentations and press releases for investor meetings

Clean Energy Trends    

Position the company as a forward-thinking leader by highlighting the latest trends in solar technology, Smart water and Power meters.

Competitive Analysis & Benchmarking    

Regularly monitor competitor PR activities, media coverage, and market positioning to ensure the company remains a leader in the industry; and use data from competitor analysis to benchmark the company’s own PR efforts, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Clean Energy Awareness Campaigns    

Partner with environmental NGOs, or government agencies to sponsor clean energy awareness campaigns, particularly those aimed at communities that are underserved by clean energy

Employee Advocacy and Internal Communications    

Develop internal communication plans that keep employees informed about the company’s projects, sustainability goals, and external PR campaigns. Ensure employees are aware of the company’s mission, values, and achievements in the clean energy space

Crisis Management & Reputation Monitoring    

Act as a key spokesperson during times of crisis, managing media inquiries and coordinating with senior leadership on the communication strategy.
Proactively monitor and assess potential risks to the company’s reputation, preparing crisis communication plans and responding swiftly to mitigate damage

Stakeholder Engagement    

Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, banks and government officials, to ensure alignment in messaging and public perception.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relationship, business administration, communication or any other related field
Minimum 5 years of work experience in media, public relations, communications or photovoltaic industry 
Experience working with the  government is a mandatory requirement

Knowledge and skills required

Strong verbal and written communication and analyzing skills
Fluency in both spoken and written English
Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
Strong relationship with governmental and non-governmental agencies is an added advantage
Familiarity with PR tools, media databases, and reporting platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
