Your mission
A key purpose of the role is to help strengthen leadership to make sure we have leaders who actively work with People Management in order to create short term as well as lasting results.

Your main Responsibilities
Overall responsible for all regional sites from a people management perspective, including implementation and follow-up of policies and procedures.
Translate global HR strategies to regional and local adaptations, including definition of KPIs
Follow-up and track performance of HR initiatives in the region
Attract and retain the best talent to the region to meet our customer requirements and diversity standards in close collaboration with the RCoE
Set and drive compensation and benefit strategy including driving the regional pay adjustments and yearly performance calibrations.
Proactively coach and support leadership within all aspects of people management, including safeguarding of labour relations and preventing escalation of grievances into legal matters.
Build strong relationships with councils and other legal parties.
Leading the analysis of regional employee feedback and data, with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture.
Champion a performance culture and continuous improvement
Close collaboration with Global HR, HRBPs in region and the Regional Center of Excellence in Sub-Sahara to deliver winning employee experience.
What competences, skills and experience will you need?
Minimum 10 years’ experience in broad HR roles, min. 5 of those years in a regional or comparable HR management role. HR management experience on senior level, knowledge of local HR standards, procedures and legal related topics.
Master’s degree in human resources management or business Administration and Behavioural Science
Fluency in English is a key requirement, mastery in French is highly desirable but not a must.

Continuous improvement mindset.
Experience of HR transformation initiatives including digitalization
Experience of working with SAP Success factors or other cloud-based HR systems is highly desirable.
