Job Purpose
As an Associate HR at CLASP, you’ll play a crucial role in providing HR support and guidance to our team in Kenya and potentially other locations. Your responsibilities will include acting as a HR generalist, partnering with employees to address their needs, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the HR department. This requires:
HR Expertise: Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Employee Relations: Ability to build effective relationships and provide guidance to employees.
Operational Efficiency: Experience in running HR daily functions and managing routine tasks effectively.
Vendor Management: Skill in liaising with external vendors for HR-related services.

What You’ll Need
5+ years of relevant HR experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including recruitment, performance management, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, employment laws etc.
Preference for those with education or experience in Kenya labor law
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Seeks to build long term relationships. Can practice discretion and can maintain confidentiality as needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills
Experience with automated payroll and HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
