Responsibilities of the Consultant
Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors
Ensure consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all written materials, following US English conventions
Provide suggestions for improving clarity, coherence, and overall quality of written content
Collaborate with the A360 team to address any issues or concerns regarding the content
Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proofread documents in a timely manner
Return edited document in track changes mode, plus a clean copy (changes accepted).
Requirements and Experience:
Proven experience as a proofreader or editor, preferably in the development sector
Excellent command of English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in written content
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other editing software is preferred
