Inventory Controller Human Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT.

Planning, managing & reporting on Stock takes
Damages /waste
Dead Stock or obsolete
Slow Moving
Cycle counts (daily)
Validate daily wastages as reported by stores
Monitor inventory management & procedures.
Enforce finance procedures at the Warehouse and report.

COSTING

Landed cost management

OTHER REPORTS IN ACCOUNTS.

Work on ROPE (Monthly Results, Objectives, Planning & Execution) to your supervisor.
Send ROI (Weekly Results, Objectives & Issues) to your supervisor by every Saturday.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT DUTIES

Leave plans –Ensure you plan & implement your team’s leave at the start of every year.
Training -Coach your teams & provide technical expertise to the team.
Performance – Set department objectives/KRAs & DDIs; Review and assess ongoing performance.
Weekly Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required among your team.
Ensure policies are adhered; be the role model in adhering to policies.
Ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Motivate the team to operational success
Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems
Communicate KPIs from the annual strategic plan so that each employee is aware.
Ensure your team send ROI (weekly Results, following week Objectives and Issues) to you by every Saturday; analyse and give timely feedback.
Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere

Skill & Experience

3+ years’ experience working in an import/export busy environment

Qualifications

Degree in Procurement /Accounting/ Purchasing / Supplies / Logistics Management or any other related field.
