Key Responsibilities:
Derive test requirements and design test models.
Develop, optimize, and execute automated test scripts using Eggplant Test.
Create and extract test data, document test cases, and provide detailed technical reporting.
Perform detailed results analysis, summary reporting, and validate the effectiveness of test assets against the defined test plan.
Integrate tools outside of Eggplant Test and work with software version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
Work independently and collaboratively within a customer organization, taking direction from test architects and project management.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers and ensure compliance with Eggplant Test best practices.
Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and ensure high attention to detail.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of IT work experience with more than 3 years in Test Automation Engineering.
Over 2 years of experience using Eggplant Test and more than 1 year of building automation scripts in Eggplant Test.
Experience in model-based testing and test management tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
Familiarity with Agile development, automated build pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity), and tools like Cucumber.
Experience working in secure government environments and adhering to security procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
UK Citizenship and relevant security clearances.
Eggplant Functional Training certification (Level 1: Expert, Level 2: Genius).
Experience in customer-facing roles and delivering test assets to specifications
