Job Description
The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for establishing and ensuring adherence to data governance framework for data policies, standards, and practices at the Bank. The role involves overseeing data governance activities, ensuring data quality and integrity, and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Job Responsibilities
Data Governance Framework:
Develop and implement a data governance framework, including policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective data management across the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Data Quality and Integrity:
Monitor and ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of data across various systems and databases.
Implement data quality metrics and KPIs and conduct regular data audits and assessments.
Address data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
Data Stewardship:
Act as a liaison between business units and IT to promote data stewardship and data ownership.
Educate and train employees on data governance principles and practices.
Facilitate the establishment of data stewardship roles and responsibilities within the organization.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with data-related regulations, policies, and standards, including data privacy and security.
Identify data-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry trends.
Data Governance Council:
Coordinate and support the activities of the Data Governance Council, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting outcomes.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making on data governance matters.
Data Management Tools:
Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies to support data governance initiatives.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data governance tools.
Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and maintain data governance reports and dashboards to provide insights into data quality and governance activities.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with data quality management, data stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
