DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans metal repair and fabrication operations.
Draws working sketch, makes templates, consults drawing and selects tools and materials.
Perform layout, using tools such as ruler, scriber, divides and combination set.
Shape and forms metal for proper set up, using tools such power shears, cut off wheels, cutting torches and metal working hand tools.
Determine needs for machining parts
Braze and solder ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Plans repair and fabrication operations
Select welding process and electrode suitable for type and thickness of metal and type of joint required.
Shapes and form part, and set up work for welding, using jogs, clamps and positioners.
Welds butt, lap, tee, and corner joints in flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead working conditions.
Welds light gauges of heat and corrosion-resistant ferrous alloys, aluminum, magnesium alloys, titanium, titanium alloys, nickel base, and cobalt base alloys using inert gas shielded arc-welding process.
Identifies and determines classification of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Anneals, normalizes, hardens and tempers ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Cleans grease scale and oxides from metal parts using alkaline and acid solutions, electrolysis and mechanical methods such sand blasting, tumbling and buffing.
Washes and buffs metal parts to remove poisonous or corrosive deposits and to improve finish.
Perform operator maintenance on electric and oxyacetylene welding equipment.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must speak, read and understand English language.
Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
Must have a valid country Professional driver’s license with restriction code at least 2.

EDUCATION:
Completion of high school with courses in shop mathematics, metal working, electrical and mechanical drawing is desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 years experienced in welding job, including body, and fender work is required.
Knowledge of the characteristics, metal repair and fabrication by oxyacetylene, metallic arc, inert gas-shield arc on forging processes, metal heat-treating, principles of welding and forging, use and capacity of welding equipment, shop drawing and mathematics, metal measurements and layout devices, safety codes and practices regarding explosive gases and hazardous rays is mandatory.
Basic terms of the job offer.
Assignment Duration: 12 months. Renewal subject to performance and project status.
Base Monthly Salary: 48 hours per week minimum work requirement: $570.00 (based on 48 hr. work week requirement)
Working schedule: 48 hours per week (8 hours per day/6 days a week)
Payroll period: Monthly. Amount give take home.
Overtime: Work more than 8 hours per day or work performed on a rest day and/or holiday,will be paid as overtime at the base salary rate.
Accommodations: Housing, transportation, meals in-country, and laundry facilities are provided
Sick Leave: Employee will accrue 2.67 hours of sick leave for each full month of service, beginning with the completion of the first full month of Foreign Service employment.
Annual leave Up to 21 days paid at the end of each 12-month contract.
Travel will be provided by the employer to the employee’s home country.

Your Passport must be valid for at least 12 months, with at least 6 total blank visa pages remaining.
Your driver’s license must be valid for at least 6 months (unless processing for a CDL-required position, which will require 12 months remaining).
Updated covid and yellow fever vaccination certificate.
